The self-proclaimed "Bound Buttonhole Queen" has furthered her sewing education by pouring over books and magazines, attending countless sewing seminars and conferences, and just plain experimenting on her own. Jeanette has created wearable art ensembles and couture garments that have won her many awards at such competitions as the Pacific International Quilt Festival, Nancy's Notions Creative Jacket Contest, the American Sewing Guild National Sewing Contest, Make It With Wool, and the Illinois and Wisconsin State Fairs. Now retired from accounting, Jeanette looks forward to devoting herself full-time to passing on everything she knows to other sewists, learning from others, and providing the supplies and inspiration necessary to help others reach their creative potential through her new studio and online store, High Sewciety Boutique.
