Sampler Quilt - Beginner Next Steps
Everything beginner quilters need to succeed! We will learn some of the basic building blocks that so many quilt patterns use - half square triangles, flying geese, 9-patch, log cabin, and correct border application. We will make the Sampler Quilt from Alex Anderson's Start Quilting book, which will give you a good foundation for starting on your quilting journey. You will need to purchase the book if you did not do so already when you signed up to take our Rail Fence Beginner class.
Class will be held in two consecutive weekly full-day sessions.
This class is for the beginner who knows how to use a sewing machine.
The classroom will be equipped with:
- Sewing machines (no need to lug your machine to class!)

Cathy has been quilting for over 20 years and has learned a few shortcuts over the years to simplify some processes. She has done applique, paper piecing and art quilts, but her love is in traditional and modern quilts. Come learn to quilt with her. Her excitement is contagious! |
