The studio will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th, so that I can accompany my husband to a doctor's appointment in Charleston.  He hasn't had an in-person appointment with this doctor since Covid hit, so we think it's time to go see this doctor face to face!

The studio will re-open on Thursday, June 20th.

New Christmas fabrics have arrived!  This collection of watercolor designs by Lisa Audit for Riley Blake invoke the Christmas time tradition of going to pick out the perfect tree at the tree farm.  Lisa captured the moments with gentle snow fall, reindeer, sleds, wreaths and trees, and farm wildlife.

We love Fabelism Fabrics! They are yarn-dyed fabrics that reflect the earthy, natural colors of the California coastline. What I especially love about them is the yummy texture that it adds to any quilt or garment. The solids aren't "just solids". They have an interesting "X" design woven into the fabric. The Monarch Grove line and the Forest Forage line have great designs, but also texture woven into them. Come in and see them today!

The new "Fabulous 5-yard Quilts" book by Fabric Cafe is here!  Fabric Cafe has long been known for their 3-yard quilt patterns.  Now they have come out with a book for 5-yard quilts!  The 5-yard quilt patterns measure about 52" x 72" (the measurements vary by design, but this give you an idea of the size).  The 3-yard quilt patterns run approximately 46" x 60".  These 5-yard quilt patterns are still easy for the confident beginner to master, but allow for more detail compared to the 3-yard quilt patterns.
